It was a perfectly cozy winter wedding day for J&S. Just loved this ceremony arch piece we created for them and love the dusty mauve and peach tones along with champagne and ivory - subtle and sophisticated and a little bit of warmth in the color palette! Thank you Serenity Grace Photography for these beautiful images!
Recently converted lover of winter weddings here. All the coziness and warmth and joy - when it’s cold outside and there’s candlelight inside, and it’s just so romantic. This wedding at Ann Arbor’s Cobblestone Farm and reception at Weber’s was just gorgeous and an honor to be a part of. I loved this lush color palette of jewel toned cranberry, amethyst purple, navy blue, reds, and lots of textured foliages. So thrilled to share these beautiful images with you from Matt + Ashley Photography.
I just loved starting off 2017 with Becca and Marc's wedding flowers. I loved creating these natural, elegant, classic bouquets for their celebration at Zingerman's Cornman Farms. I'm so excited to share these gorgeous photos with you from Lola Grace Photography - they just sing with sophistication and warmth and joy. Congratulations Becca and Marc!
And this last one has no flowers in it, but how gorgeous! Beautifully done, Lola Grace Photography!
Mark and Sarah had a gorgeous winter celebration at the Michigan League Ballroom captured so beautifully by Violet Light Photography. Sophisticated, stylish and seasonal, Sarah wanted flowers with natural styling and interesting textures. Loose but not too loose flowing pieces and large but not too large bouquets. She wanted her bouquet to be a statement piece, and I hope she loved it as much as I did - I loved the blush and cranberry tones that she picked and the lush textures and natural oblong, cascading shape. And the ceremony arch design - I loved getting to create this piece, and I loved the arch that Sarah's dad created for the occasion - so much so that I bought it and can now share it with other couples. Congratulations Sarah and Mark, it was wonderful to be a part of your celebration!
Sarah's bouquet featured burgundy peonies, blush majolica roses, caramel antike garden roses, seeded and silver dollar eucalyptus, camelia foliage, blush quicksand roses
This was such a lovely intimate, cozy, warm, sophisticated celebration in downtown Ann Arbor - so loved getting to be a part of this! Vinology was a perfect spot - it felt so cozy and a special place to celebrate with friends and family! I loved getting to create the arch design for the ceremony with curly willow branches and white orchids - adding a touch of nature and designating the ceremony space. And it was my first time to visit the new Residence Inn Downtown Ann Arbor - such a lovely spot to get ready for an Ann Arbor wedding, and perfect for guests to be able to walk to downtown activities! So many great images from The Billings - thank you so much, beaming bride and groom so beautifully captured!
For Jenn's bouquet, we used amnesia, little silver, earl grey, and pink O'Hara garden roses, together with white freesia, white majolica spray roses, seeded eucalyptus and mini pittosporum foliages.
When I was emailing with Carrie about her bridal bouquet, I mentioned using seeded eucalyptus, and she said "That sounds great! I work with eucalyptus trees!" How neat is that?! Carrie was planning her winter Ann Arbor wedding from Australia, and I was so pleased to get to create this natural, textural bouquet for her. And I was even more excited to receive these lovely photos from Nicole Haley Photography, who captured this lovely, intimate, joyful celebration so naturally. Nicole captured such beautiful images at the wedding ceremony at Matthaei Botanical Garden, and I love the really lovely modern spots she found on the grounds there. And I love that with an intimate group, they were able to have their reception seated at one long table at Aventura downtown - sounds like a fantastic evening out!
Carrie's bouquet featured lots of textured foliages - seeded eucalyptus and bay leaf as well as green mini cymbidium orchids, blush majolica spray roses, pink protea (from Australia!) and fern curls. Congratulations!
Nothing like a little (or a lot!) of spontaneous snow to make for a memorable celebration and some really gorgeous and fun wedding photos! Alexa and Ryan were married in November, on that one day where it poured snow. Rather surprising! And they clearly had so much fun wading out into the snow for some amazing (and brave!) images with Melanie Reyes. The reception at Zingerman's Events on Fourth looks like the perfect cozy spot to hunker down in the storm with your friends and family - what a lovely and memorable way to celebrate. Alexa's bouquet featured blush quicksand and ivory roses, white O'Hara garden roses, burgundy dahlias, dusty miller and silver dollar eucalyptus foliages, silver brunia berries and blue denatum berries. The lush foliage garlands on the long rectangular tables at Zingerman's added just a splash of color - sophisticated, and a little something special!
Congratulations Alexa and Ryan and thank you Melanie for these beautiful images!
