Recently converted lover of winter weddings here. All the coziness and warmth and joy - when it’s cold outside and there’s candlelight inside, and it’s just so romantic. This wedding at Ann Arbor’s Cobblestone Farm and reception at Weber’s was just gorgeous and an honor to be a part of. I loved this lush color palette of jewel toned cranberry, amethyst purple, navy blue, reds, and lots of textured foliages. So excited to share these images from Emily & Aniket's summer wedding celebration at Earhart Manor. Alison from First Comes Love Photo captured so many sweet and fun moments - baby toes! dancing in the the rain! flower girl twirling! So many moments that I know will be precious to Emily and Aniket when they look back on their special day. So many wonderful details coordinated by Julie of J. Eliza Events (and Julie includes a lovely description of the day and epic rainstorm on her blog) - it was so great to be a part of this celebration, and Emily and Aniket even generously donated their flowers to Arbor Hospice afterward (I couldn't believe how great these flowers still looked the day after). On the floral side, we were so excited by these bright, bold colors - jewel tones paired with more muted peaches and blushes, a foliage garland accented with flowers and gold and silver candles down the head table, and foliage garlands for the couple's hindu ceremony. So excited to share this, and so lovely to be a part of this lovely celebration!
I have loved doing flower crowns this summer - and now it's for brides as well as flower girls, or even all the bridesmaids - just love making these and love how it adds a natural touch to the overall look. This flower crown for Alexa's Zingerman's Cornman Farms in Dexter was such a favorite! It was a perfect summer day on the farm for Alexa and Tony's wedding day at Zingerman's Cornman Farms. I just loved creating all these flowers with bold colors and textures - bold reds, oranges and raspberries along with blush and peach and lots of lush greens. We loved creating the ceremony decor at the front porch of the farmhouse - such a gorgeous space and adding foliage garlands and floral accent for a pop of color seemed so perfect. Thank you so much to the truly talented Melanie Reyes for these beautiful images - so many beautiful moments! Congratulations Tony and Alexa!
Loved this arch decoration for the ceremony - it's such a perfect spot, and a little eucalyptus foliage and floral accents at the top made it just so special!
Centerpieces included peach juliet, red piano, and raspberry tess garden roses together with peach ranunculus, white majolica spray roses, orange free spirit roses, white scabiosa, green thistle, ferns, fresh mint, and other textured foliages.
We did none of these flowers - all beautiful sugarwork by Zingermans! - and don't they look so amazing! A perfect match with the real thing!
