Cornman Farms intimate wedding | Red Poppy Wedding Flowers

Ending the year with a beautiful elopement at Cornman Farms in December. All the coziness of a winter wedding, with enough sunshine for an outside ceremony in front of the gorgeous white house with festive garlands on the balcony. A winter flower palette can be such fun - this one featured mauve, lavender, amethyst purple with amnesia roses, snapdragons, lisianthus, thistle, clematis, fern, eucalyptus, and matthiola. Recently converted lover of winter weddings here. All the coziness and warmth and joy - when it’s cold outside and there’s candlelight inside, and it’s just so romantic. This wedding at Ann Arbor’s Cobblestone Farm and reception at Weber’s was just gorgeous and an honor to be a part of. I loved this lush color palette of jewel toned cranberry, amethyst purple, navy blue, reds, and lots of textured foliages. Cornman Farms Wedding Flowers | Dexter, Michigan

The fireplace at Zingerman's Cornman Farms is just perfect!  So cozy and inviting and special - perfect for an intimate winter wedding.  And Sally and Dylan's December wedding was just so joyful and cozy, warm and beautiful.  I was so excited to meet Sally for the first time on her wedding day!  Coming from Washington DC, they had been planning from out of town and I think it's always extra special to meet the bride on her wedding morning, handing her her bouquet!  My cell phone rang as I drove away after setting up, sneaking out just as the couple were arriving at the reception, and it was Sally calling to tell me how she loved the reception flowers - it was exactly what she envisioned - and I was just so thrilled - it always means so much to be me know that the flowers were loved and I was especially excited to get that call right away!

Becca and Marc - Zingermans Cornman Farms

I just loved starting off 2017 with Becca and Marc's wedding flowers.  I loved creating these natural, elegant, classic bouquets for their celebration at Zingerman's Cornman Farms.  I'm so excited to share these gorgeous photos with you from Lola Grace Photography - they just sing with sophistication and warmth and joy.  Congratulations Becca and Marc!

winter wedding at zingermans on fourth

It was so wonderful to hear from Tessa and Darin this autumn.  It's always a special treat to receive photos of wedding flowers from my couples, and this was especially lovely.  Tessa and Darin are just wonderful people and they were so kind and fun with each other, and they were my first wedding after taking my maternity leave at the beginning of the year.  They were so patient with me being away from email for a bit, and their warmth and understanding made me feel how lucky I am to be doing this - to have the flexibility to spend some extra time with my baby and to work with great people who are kind enough to be understanding and celebrate these family times!  I was so looking forward to their wedding and I was so happy when Tessa and Darin stopped by the day before their wedding to pick up a few things, and I got to introduce my baby girl.  Congratulations, guys - thanks for the special memories! Winter flower crown and boutonnieres

A few quick snapshots of the floral crown and cute bouts from this winter wedding at Cobblestone Farm in Ann Arbor.  I love to let my inner 6-year-old create the flower crown I would have loved at that age!

Boutonnieres featured yellow craspedia, red spray roses, silver brunia, seeded eucalyptus foliage, and blue eryngium.  Love this mix of colors with a pop of silver for a winter wedding!
