Frutig Farms The Valley Wedding | Ann Arbor Wedding Flowers

It was a stunning summer celebration for Courtney and Dennis - so excited to share this one! So many beautiful details in this warm palette of sunset tones, and it was so beautiful against the backdrop of tall grasses and wood details at Frutig Farms The Valley. The chuppah decor was soft and elegant - making it feel special in the summer sun. The elevated pieces in the reception gave it a focal splash of color in the barn. This was such a wonderful group! Fall is the best for texture and warm, rich tones - it was such a joy to get to create these rich, autumnal pieces for Elise and Andrew who got to have their celebration in the beautiful open fields at Frutig Farm The Valley in Ann Arbor. The warm, rich tones and textures were the perfect feel of fall on a day warm enough to be outside and enjoy the scenic views at The Valley. Cornman Farms Wedding Flowers | Dexter, Michigan

The fireplace at Zingerman's Cornman Farms is just perfect!  So cozy and inviting and special - perfect for an intimate winter wedding.  And Sally and Dylan's December wedding was just so joyful and cozy, warm and beautiful.  I was so excited to meet Sally for the first time on her wedding day!  Coming from Washington DC, they had been planning from out of town and I think it's always extra special to meet the bride on her wedding morning, handing her her bouquet!  My cell phone rang as I drove away after setting up, sneaking out just as the couple were arriving at the reception, and it was Sally calling to tell me how she loved the reception flowers - it was exactly what she envisioned - and I was just so thrilled - it always means so much to be me know that the flowers were loved and I was especially excited to get that call right away!

Lauren and Jeff at Cornman Farms

It was such a genuine joy to be a part of Lauren & Jeff's summer wedding at the always stunning Zingerman's Cornman Farms.  Their celebration was full of joy and warmth and family.  The details were gorgeous, and Silver Thumb captured so many beautiful moments, I had such a hard time picking favorite photos!  Also such a pleasure working with Twofoot Creative who always make things run smoothly and beautifully behind the scenes. Lauren & Jeff's flowers included caramel antike garden roses, romantic antike garden roses, white peonies, white majolica spray roses, blue viburnum berries, white astilbe, mint geranium, silver dollar eucalyptus and a mix of other foliages.  Congratulations Lauren & Jeff!

Alexa and Tony at Zingermans Cornman Farms

It was a perfect summer day on the farm for Alexa and Tony's wedding day at Zingerman's Cornman Farms.  I just loved creating all these flowers with bold colors and textures - bold reds, oranges and raspberries along with blush and peach and lots of lush greens.  We loved creating the ceremony decor at the front porch of the farmhouse - such a gorgeous space and adding foliage garlands and floral accent for a pop of color seemed so perfect.  Thank you so much to the truly talented Melanie Reyes for these beautiful images - so many beautiful moments!  Congratulations Tony and Alexa!  

Loved this arch decoration for the ceremony - it's such a perfect spot, and a little eucalyptus foliage and floral accents at the top made it just so special!

Centerpieces included peach juliet, red piano, and raspberry tess garden roses together with peach ranunculus, white majolica spray roses, orange free spirit roses, white scabiosa, green thistle, ferns, fresh mint, and other textured foliages.

We did none of these flowers - all beautiful sugarwork by Zingermans! - and don't they look so amazing!   A perfect match with the real thing!

Gorgeous celebration at Misty Farm

I just loved Amanda and Jonathan right off the bat when we first met.  Kind, young, fun, cool, confident, and stylish - I was so excited to be a part of their wedding and loved their ideas for interesting textures and a very romantic arch design for the ceremony.  And their wedding at Misty Farm was so beautiful and joyful!  These images from Heather Jowett just blew me away - I was so, so excited from the first sneak peek she posted on Facebook!   I can only imagine how hard it is for these two to pick their favorites - there are just so many  that make me think 'how awesome would it be to blow that up and frame it!' Thank you Amanda and Jonathan - it was really such fun to create these pieces and such an honor to be a part of your wedding!!

Amanda's bouquet included ivory majolica spray roses, blush quicksand roses, caramel antique garden roses, queen anne's lace, seeded and silver dollar eucalyptus and dried lotus pods.

And how about Misty Farm moving the ceremony arch design to the reception?!  That's awesome!  It looks gorgeous, and it's really special for a venue to go that extra mile for their couples - awesome people at Misty Farm!

Autumn wedding at The Valley

When Kassia and I were discussing her bridal bouquet, we were deciding between a more simple, clean lines, rounded ivory bouquet, and something with a little more foliage and natural, flowing shape to it.  I know it would have been gorgeous either way, but I'm especially happy seeing these beautiful images from Nicole Haley Photography - I'm so glad she went for the more flowy option - I think it worked so well!  A bit fun and romantic, but not too over the top! We keep the materials simple so it wouldn't feel too busy - lovely foliages of seeded eucalyptus and silver dollar eucalyptus, white hydrangea, burgundy dahlia and white majolica scary roses.  Thank you Nicole for these beautiful images at The Valley - such a special spot to celebrate!  

Spring Misty Farm Wedding

There are these moments when it feel like Christmas when photographers send images of a wedding and it's all the joy of seeing the happy couple celebrating and seeing your floral designs in action, and it's just so wonderful.  This is one of those times!  Thank you  The Compass Points Here for these gorgeous images from Lauren and Brandon's spring wedding at Misty Farm.  They were so wonderful to work with and I just was so looking forward to all the variety and texture in their flowers!  Lauren had some beautiful family glassware mailed in from Massachusetts, and I was also so thrilled that it all arrived safely and was so unique to work with.  The Compass Points Here captured everything so beautifully - even beautiful photos of the rain streaming down outside the barn doors that will be making people wish it rained on their big day!  Congratulations, Lauren and Brandon - so honored to have been a part of your celebration!

White oaks farm wedding

I was so excited to see these beautiful images of Laura and Sean's wedding at White Oaks Farm in Dexter.  Melanie Reyes Photography captured the day so beautifully - this family's warmth and joy shines through!  And the moments she captured of the adorable flower girls are precious.  I hope you enjoy.  Congratulations Laura and Sean - it was a genuine pleasure to be a part of this celebration!

These flower girls could not be any cuter!  I just love being asked to create flower crowns - these were mostly soft foliage with lavender and ivory rose accents for a soft, natural look.  The aisle flowers featured dark and light purple with white hydrangea and a splash of yellow, together with silver dollar eucalyptus foliage.

Having so much fun at this wedding already!

The groom's herbal boutonniere featured yellow ranunculus together with lavender and rosemary.

And the bride's bouquet of dried lavender smelled amazing!  I didn't want it to leave the studio!

Cottonwood Barn Autumn wedding

It's so wonderful to receive these images from a gorgeous wedding at Cottonwood Barn in Dexter.  It was such a pleasure working with this bride and her vision for a lovely but not too traditional mix of autumnal colors and textures in her wedding flowers.  We used a mix of burgundy cymbidium orchids, orange pincushion protea, mango and plum calla lilies, yellow chrysanthemums, and a mix of textured foliages to create a seasonal look with texture and warmth.  Photo credit to Emily Alt, Watassa Wedding Photography for these lovely images!
